A little more about me
I’m a fully qualified and insured hair stylist with over 22 years of industry experience, and while I live in Hertfordshire, I travel far and wide for weddings. I've had many wonderful opportunities in my career, including styling hair sailing the 7 seas on board cruise ships, taking part in competitions working for Saks and session styling behind the scenes for film and T.V for companies such as QVC. I have trained with and assisted famous hairdressers from around the world including Ulyana Aster and Patrick Cameron and have more training planned for 2024 to deepen my knowledge and I am a proud member of the Kristina Gasperas Academy where i get to brush up on my skills making sure i am current with all the current bridal trends.
Since starting my own bridal business in 2018 I have been nominated and shortlisted in the Four Counties Wedding Awards for the past 2 years winning ‘One to watch’ hairstylist in 2019. In 2020 I won the Salon Awards ‘Freelance Hairstylist of the year’ award
I am also a fully qualified hair extension technician, specialising in Beautyworks ‘ Celebrity Choice’ micro rings (nano bond and stick tip), pre bonded flat tips and slim line tapes. Extensions can be a great trick to create your desired bridal look - if your hair isn’t quite long or thick enough, that doesn't need to hold you back from your desired style. I can also match up and order clip in hair pieces to enhance your look. Prices are on quotation.
‘Hairdressing isn’t a job, it’s a craft’ - Hairdressing truly is my main passion and I love to fuel this by continually pushing myself to learn more. Since focusing on bridal hair I feel like I have found my true calling and I haven’t looked back. I love the buzz of adding a bit of hair magic to a bride's special day.
